进入新世纪以来,中国的当代具象雕塑在国际艺术舞台上显得更加成熟,在全球化语境中,中国当代具象雕塑创作在创新的同时应该把具有中国传统艺术语言的元素作为创作基础,在此基础上再进行其它表现形式上的创新,这就是中国雕塑语言表达的新内容。在形式上不限于东方或者西方、在创作手法上也不拘泥于材料的多样性,而是在不摒弃传统元素的同时进行创新。
