摘要
为了和科学前沿接轨,基于长塑料闪烁体,我们开设了ns量级时间测量的核物理教学实验:位置灵敏塑料闪烁体谱仪.当辐射的位置不同时,产生的荧光信号在闪烁体中传输的路径长度和传输时间就不同,所以长塑料闪烁体两端信号的时间差可以用来确定辐射的位置.该实验需要学生自己用示波器观察信号的特点,调节电子学插件的参数和时序关系,使学生在该实验中最大限度地学习使用和掌握示波器的用法.经过2013~2015年3年的教学实践表明,该实验是一个适合高年级本科生的实验.
In order to close measuring time in magnitude of to the scientific frontier, based on a long plastic scintillator, a new experiment ns order is established. The experiment is named positionsensitive plastic scintiIlator spectrometer.The time difference of signals read by both ends of long plastic scintillator can be used to determine the radiation position because the transition path length and time of fluorescent signal in the long plastic scintillator is different when the radiation position is different. The students are required to observe the characteristics of each output signal, and to adjust electronics parameters and temporal relations of two time signals using an oscilloscope, which can help them learn and master how to use oscilloscope in the experiment. It is found that this research experiment is suitable for the senior under-grade students via the teaching practice of three years from 2013 to 2015.
