From Social Movement to Movement Society: A Investigation of Social Movement History in Taiwan in 1980's

本文在分析一九八〇年代台湾社会运动兴起原因的基础上,概括其历史脉络,总结其历史特征。研究发现,这十年间的台湾社会运动具有兴起原因多样、组织作用强烈、参与群体广泛、目标诉求明确、抗争形式多变、政治特色浓厚等六个方面的综合特征。

Based on the analysis of the reasons for the rise of the social movement in Taiwan in 1980＇s, this paper expounds its historical process and summarizes its historical characteristics. The study found that these ten years of Taiwan social movements with six aspects of the comprehensive characteristics. Namely various rising causes, strong organizations, extensive participations, clear target demands, Various protest forms and strong political features.
