摘要
"英美文学选读"课程是我国高校英语专业的核心课程,对提高学生的人文素质和培养学生的文学鉴赏力起着积极的作用,但由于市场经济下社会功利思想的冲击,"英美文学选读"课的教学面临着巨大的压力和挑战,有日趋边缘化的危险;此外,传统的课堂教学只注重知识的传授,忽视了学生研究能力的培养,从而严重挫伤了学生学习的积极性。文章以建构主义理论为指导,探讨研究性教学方法在"英美文学选读"课教学中的应用以及如何培养学生的研究能力,努力促进文学课课堂教学模式的改革。
As one of the key courses for English majors in China, British and American Literature has played a positive role in cultivating the students' appreciation and quality education, however, it is faced with tremendous challenges and being marginalized by the impact of market economy characteristic of utilitarianism; in addition, traditional class teaching focuses only on know-what rather than know-how, which hurt badly the students' enthusiasm. In response to the problems, this paper tries to explore how research-oriented teaching is applied to the British and American Literature class and the cultivation of research capacity to speed up the reform on the classroom teaching.
