武汉轨道交通一号线开通于2004年,至此之后,武汉成为中国第五个开始建设城市轨道交通的城市。武汉轨道交通2号线的投入使用,标志着武汉地铁进入高速和全面的发展阶段。依据规划,武汉轨道交通线路总长度预计达到300多公里,线路覆盖整个城市区域和周边卫星城区。轨道交通日益发展给武汉地铁商业的发展带来了良好的契机。
