On Russia's Turning to Asia

俄罗斯转向亚洲是其国家政治、经济利益使然,转向过程并没有外界想象得那样快,并且伴随着一些困难,但是进程已经开启,回头已不可能。虽然俄罗斯在极力避免冲突,并努力与各国建立良好的关系,但是莫斯科对不同政府的态度还是有所区别的。在保留争议的情况下协调可以协商的问题,是俄罗斯处理与西方国家关系的基础,这种"和平共处"模式使俄罗斯与非西方世界变得更加接近,也是俄罗斯转向亚洲的坚实基础。

That Russia turns to Asia is the consequence of the drive of its national politics and economic interests.The process hasn’t been as fast as what it was expected and imagined by the external world.Meanwhile,this process has met some difficulties;yet,there has been no way to return back since it started.Though Russia has tried to avoid the conflicts and tried to built good relationships with other countries,Russian government has taken different attitudes toward different countries.Adopting mutual and coodinating approaches in the case of reserving dispute is the basic rules in the relations bewteen Russia and the western countries.The'peaceful coexistence'model helps Russia get close to non-western countries and is the solid foundation of Russia’s Turning Asia.
