An Overview of the History of Modern Chinese Phonetics

20世纪20年代实验语音学传入中国以来,对中国的语音学研究产生了重大影响,为原本的"口耳之学"提供了科学的实证方法。刘复的《四声实验录》率先系统地运用西方近代实验语音学理论对汉语声调进行研究并借用乐律进行表达,标志着西方近代实验语音学完成了东方范式的建构。在这一范式的影响下,中国实验语音学的研究不断深入,发展至今。

Since the introduction of experimental phonetics in China in the 1920s, it has had a significant impact on the study of phonet- ics in China and provided a scientific and empirical method for the traditional theory of ＂ear and mouth＂. Liu Fu＇s ＂Record of Experiments on the Four Tones＂ first to systematically use the western modern experimental phonetics theory to study the Chinese tones and use the rhythm to express, marking the Western modern experimental phonetics to complete the construction of the Oriental paradigm. Under the influence of this paradigm, the research of Chinese experimental phonetics has been deepening and developing so far.
