基于西方修辞学的外贸函电课程教学研究

摘要 为了与浸淫在浓厚修辞环境中的西方商务人士周旋,实现外贸函电交际目的,有必要在外贸函电课程教学中渗透修辞意识。教师和学习者应认识到"说服"、"改变"是函电最核心的功能;评判信函成败的标准不是"正确性"或"得体性",而是"有效性"。学习者身份不是单纯"知会信息"的写信者,而是"修辞师";收信者身份也转变成"修辞受众"。学习策略将由传统的记忆和操练为主转变成有意识地运用"三诉诸"修辞策略进行思考和讨论。 It is essential for teachers and learners to apply the rhetoric principle and strategies to business correspondence communication and thus,to realize the communication purpose. During this process, "persuasion"not "pass the information"becomes the core function of business correspondence. To write a successful business letter, attention should be paid to "effectiveness" rather than "correctness" or "appropriateness". Learners(writers) become "rhetor" and receivers become "rhetoric audience". The learning strategies will be changed from mechanical memorizing and practice into the conscious use of rhetoric strategies.
