摘要
文学教学是提升英语专业学生人文素养的重要举措。我国当前英语专业的文学教学仍然以英美文学教学为主,很少涉及非英美国家(地区)的英语文学创作。本文以加拿大黑人英语文学为例分析英语文学的文化和学理意义,认为我国当前英语专业文学教学应该突破"英美文学中心论",吸纳世界英语文学的精华,实现从"英美文学教学"到"英语文学教学"的转变,构建一种兼容并蓄的外国文学教学体系。
The teaching of literature is essential to enhance English major students' humanistic qualities. Currently, the teaching of literature for English majors in China's universities and colleges focus mostly on English and American literature, ignoring, to a large extent, English literatures turned out in countries and regions other than Britain and America. The present thesis explores the cultural and academic significance of Literature in English from the perspective of Black Canadian Literature in English, arguing that Chinese English majors should study all literatures written in English, not just English and American literature, that what is needed is an inclusive and multiple approaching to teaching foreign literature.
