Translation of Culture—Specific Words and Phrases of Achang Epic Zhepama and Zhemima from the Perspective of Eco-environment

《遮帕麻与遮米麻》是阿昌口传文学发展过程中的一座丰碑,再现了古代阿昌社会的历史、宗教、文化、社会发展状况,被认为是阿昌族历史的生动演绎。史诗中保留的文化特色词可以追溯到阿昌民族迁徙、族群变更、社会变化等历史足迹。而要准确传达阿昌文化特色词汇内涵及外延意义,必须从翻译生态环境出发,以语言、文化、交际三个维度的适应与选择为基础,整合出最佳译文。

Zhepama and Zhemima is a monument in the development of Achang oral literature, which presents the history,religion, culture and social development of the ancient Achang society. The culture specific words and phrases retained in the epic can be traced back to the migration history and social changes of Achang. In order to convey the connotation and extension meaning of Achang culture specific words and phrases accurately, translator should be adapted to translation of the ecological environment, and make proper choice and adaptation from＂language, culture, communication＂three dimensions and integrate the best translation.
