The Historical Experience of Strengthening Party Self-Discipline of the CPC during the Period of Democratic Revolution

党在民主革命时期虽未提出"从严治党"这一概念,但已经有了从严治党的自觉意识和丰富实践。在长期革命斗争中,党从严加强自身建设,进行了艰辛探索,积累了丰富的历史经验。归结起来,从严治党必须把从严加强思想建设放在党的建设首位、必须依靠严明的纪律从严治党、必须从严培育党的优良作风、必须坚持制度治党遵循法治原则。总结这些历史经验,继承和发扬从严治党的优良传统,对新时期加强和改进党的建设有着重要意义。

Although the concept＂strengthen party self-discipline＂has not been proposed during the period of democratic revolution,theres conscientious consciousness and abundant practice about it.During the revolutionary strives,the CPC explored hard to strengthen self-building,and accumulated rich historical experience.In short,to strengthen party selfdiscipline must put the ideological construction on the first,depend on strict discipline,rear fine style,and follow the principle of the rule of law strictly.Summarizing historical experience,inheriting and developing the fine tradition will make great contribution to strengthening and improving the party building in new period.
