The strategy of poverty alleviation in frontier areas is not only a theoretical topic, but also a systematic engineering and practical subject. Based on the unique education contents and forms in ethnic areas, this paper explains the connotation of the ＇symbiosis＇of education and poverty alleviation, and explores the function of education in alleviating poverty.
