Based on the RCM theory,according to the structure and function of He Xie diesel locomotive,this paper provides the theory support for the reliability assessment and maintenance of He Xie diesel locomotive by determining the important function systems,establishing the evaluation index system of locomotive＇s reliability and presenting He Xie diesel locomotive system＇s reliability calculation model and algorithm.
