高低语境文化观在铁路技术对外培训中的应用——以肯尼亚蒙内铁路技术培训项目为例

The Application of High and Low Context Culture in Overseas Railway Technical Training——A Case Study of the Technical Training Programin Kenya Mombasa-Nairobi Railway

以肯尼亚蒙内铁路技术培训项目为背景,在高语境和低语境文化视域下,分析汉英铁路用语特点和两种语言在句型结构方面的差异。分析以斯瓦希里语和英语为官方语言的肯尼亚学员与中方培训者在文化交际方面的差异,总结在高低语境文化视域下有效的交际策略,以保证有效地沟通和正确地传输铁路知识。

Based on the technical training program in Kenya Mombasa-Nairobi railway,this paper not onlyanalyzes the characteristics of Chinese and English railway texts and the differences between the two languages from the perspective of high-context and low-context culture,but also analyzes the cultural communication differences between Chinese trainers and Kenyan trainees whose official languages are Swahili and English. In the end of this paper,the writer tries to put forward some effective communication strategies to ensure the effective communication and successful transmission of railway knowledge.
