Night Drum Culture in Fangxian County

从地方丧葬民俗的角度分析了夜锣鼓的起源,探讨了夜锣鼓在传播历史文化知识、宣扬伦理道德、陶冶情操以及宣讲党的政策等方面的文化价值,进一步解析了夜锣鼓的艺术结构和艺术特色,指出了其生存的文化危机。

This paper analyzed the origin of the night drum from the angle of local funeral custom, and probed into the cultural value of night drum in dissemination of historical and cultural knowledge,in promotion of ethics and morality,and in cultivation of sentiments and preaching of the Party policies;and it also analyzed the artistic structure and artistic features of the night drum, and pointed out the cultural crisis of its existence.
