Fully Play the Active Role of Religion under the New Situation

2016年4月22日,习近平总书记在全国宗教工作会议上强调,新形势下,要更好组织和凝聚广大信教群众同全国人民一道,为实现"两个一百年"奋斗目标、实现中华民族伟大复兴的中国梦而奋斗。发挥宗教积极社会作用,是党逐步深化宗教认识的必然结果,也是推动经济社会发展的有效途径。新形势下,要认真贯彻落实全国宗教工作会议精神,采取更加积极和鼓励的态度,全面发挥宗教在经济、政治、文化、社会和生态文明建设中的积极作用。

On April 22,2016, General Secretary Xi Jinping stressed at the National Religious Work Conference that under the new sltuatlon,it must better organize and unite the broad masses of religious bellevers, together with the peo- ple of the whole country, to achieve the goal of ＂two hundred years＂ and the great renewal of the Chinese nation and Chinese Dream. Play a positive role in religion, is the inevitable result of the party gradually deepen the religious un- derstanding, but also effective ways to promote economic and social development. Under the new situation, we should conscientiously implement the spirit of the National Religious Work Conference, adopt a more positive and encouraging attitude, and fully play the active role of religion in economic, political, cultural, social and ecological civilization con- struction .
