[Purpose/significance]The paper is to provide reference for publishing service of university libraries in China. [Method/process]The paper introduces typical case of library and publishing house＇s integration development of Purdue University abroad, analyzes opportunities and challenges in the integration development of foreign university libraries and publishing houses.[Result/conclusion]University presses and libraries abroad can achieve mutual benefit from their integration development so as to facilitate the research output.
