Numerical Simulation and Experimental Verification of 40Cr Ball Pin During Heat Treatment Process

摘要 本文利用Deform-3d软件对40Cr球销的淬火过程进行了数值模拟,预测40Cr球销在淬火过程中的温度场、相变、应力场等的变化情况,并进行了实验验证,实验结果与模拟结果相吻合。结果表明:淬火过程中,表面先到达马氏体转变点,心部最晚开始马氏体转变,球销基本淬透;在热应力和组织应力的综合作用下,淬火初期表面为拉应力,中期表现为压应力,淬火末期又转变为拉应力,心部应力的变化与表面正好相反。 The quenching process of 40Cr ball pin was numerically simulated by the simulation software Deform-3d, and its change of temperature field, stress field and phase transformation during the quenching was predicted and verified by experiment, and the experimental result matched the simulation one. The re- suits showed that the surface reached the martensitic transformation point at first and the core started the martensitic transformation at latest, and the ball pin was basically through hardening during the quenching. Under the comprehensive action of thermal stress and organization stress, the surface was tensile stress at the initial stage of quenching, compressive stress at the medium-term, turned into tensile stress in the last stage. The stress change of the core was the opposite of the surface.
