蕾拉·阿伯勒拉是当今影响力最大的非洲裔英国移民女作家之一,其对妇女生存状况的关注及相关创作引领了穆斯林移民文学的潮流。阿伯勒拉的作品主题广泛,涉及文化冲突、宗教信仰、身份认同、后殖民时代的女性生存状况等。国内外评论界从后殖民主义批评、女性主义批评、文化身份的混杂性以及对比等视角对之进行了广泛的分析和评论,文章对这些评论或研究进行了综述,阐明其意义并作了前景展望。

Leila Aboulela is one of the most influential English immigrant women writers in the world. Her concern for women＇s living conditions and their creation has led to the trend of Muslim immigrant literature. Her works cover a wide range of topics, including cultural conflicts, religious beliefs, iden- tity and women living conditions. There is a variety of research and interpretation of her works at home and abroad, especially analysis and comments from the perspective of postcolonial criticism, feminist criticism, hybridity of cultural identity, comparative study and so on. This paper offers an o- verview of the research of Aboulela＇s works at home and abroad and explores the significance and prOs- pect of the research.
