The Developmental Logic of Mao Zedong's “Serving the People” to Xi Jinping's “Remaining Committed to Our Mission”

习近平总书记在纪念中国共产党成立95周年大会上提出"不忘初心、继续前进"的时代号召。在本质上即"为了人民、继续前进",这与毛泽东确立的"为人民服务"的根本宗旨高度一致。是中国共产党人"革命为民""建设为民""改革为民"在新的历史阶段的新发展新形态,实现了中国共产党执政理念的新突破,开辟了马克思群众理论的新境界。

Xi Jinping,the General Secretary of the Communist Party of China（CPC） Central Committee,called on his comrades to ＂remain committed to our mission,and continue to forge ahead＂at the ceremony marking the 95 th anniversary of the founding of the CPC. In essence,this calling means that the CPC shall＂serve the people and continue marching forward＂,which is highly consistent with the fundamental purpose of Mao Zedong＇s ＂serving the people＂. It is the new development and new form of the Chinese Communists＇ ＂revolution,construction,and reform all for the people＂in the new historical stage,making the new breakthrough of the ruling idea of the CPC and thus initiating a new realm of Marxist mass viewpoint.
