金岳霖构建的范围逻辑是一个关于范围的演算系统,对之进行扩充,可以描述"道德是红的"这样的废话语句,也可以描述诸如"道德无所谓红"等涉及范围的语句。在范围逻辑的扩充系统中,还可以给出上述语句的语义解释。范围逻辑为解决罗素悖论提供了一个富有启发性的新视角。

Scope logic,constructed by Chin Yue-lin,is a calculation system about scope. If expanded,it can describe nonsense sentences,such as ＂morality is red＂,as well as scope-related sentences,such as＂whether morality is red does not matter＂. In the extended system of scope logic,semantic explanation can also be given to the above sentences. Therefore,scope logic provides a new and illuminating perspective for the resolution of Russell＇s Paradox.
