The Sino-US relations are the most important and influential bilateral relations in the world, both in terms of the well-being of the two peoples and the stability of the region and the world. In the 45 years after Nixon＇s ＂ice-breaking trip＂, China and the US basically maintained a good strategic interaction. But now, more and more people on both sides of the Pacific begin to worry that the most fi＇iendly times between China and the US have passed. Although there will be no conflicts, their relationship involves more and more competitive factors. With the rise of China＇s power, the Sino-US relations are in an important stage of transition. This paper intends to observe the change of American perception of China from the perspective of power transfer. On this basis, it discusses the influence of Trump＇s administration on Sino-US relations and analyses and evaluates the present situation and future trend of the Sino-US relations in terms of new balance of power.
