流求王欢斯渴剌兜:台湾历史上的“印度化时代”

摘要 6世纪后期至7世纪初,统治台湾岛(或其部分地区)的流求王族很可能来自扶南,其王姓欢斯,即扶南王姓"混";他们"移植"了扶南旧都毗耶陀补罗(Vydhapura)、特牧城(dmk或dalmk)之名,将王都称为"波罗檀",小王所居称为"低没檀";他们信奉湿婆教,并崇拜其扶南始祖"混填"。其时的流求国,有两种人群和文化因素:一种是来自扶南、居于统治地位的王族,他们"深目长鼻,颇类于胡",其表现出来的印度文化特征仅是一种上层社会的文化,影响范围较小;另一种是土著的"夷洲"人群,"人形短小",其文化代表了台湾本土的文化,有着深远的历史背景和深厚的根基。因此,扶南裔流求王族统治下的流求文化可界定为"印度—夷洲文化"。 The royalty dominated Taiwan Island(or its parts)during the late 6th century and early 7th century,probably hailed from Funan.Huansi,its family name,might well be Kaundinya,the family name of the King of Funan;Boluotan,its capital,and Dimutan,the minor capital,might be derived from Vy dhapura and dalm k,the capital of Funan.They believed in the iva,and worshiped Mahe vara.There were two kinds of people and culture in Liuqiu:one was the royalty coming from Funan,they had deeper eyes and longer noses,and their culture obviously represented some features of Indian culture;another was the Yizhou people,a native people lived in Liuqiu or Yizhou from the early 3rd century,their body was short,not tall,and their culture was representative of the indigenous culture of Taiwan Island.So the culture of Liuqiu controlled by the royalty from Funan might be defined toIndian-Yizhou Culture".
