虚词是不能单独充当句法成分的,有连接或附着各类实词的语法意义。文章重点探讨宝鸡方言与普通话共有但意义及用法不同,或宝鸡方言独有而普通话没有的副词、助词、介词、连词、语气词。

Function words are syntactic components which cannot act as independent sentence elemerits, possessing grammatical meanings through connecting or attaching to all kinds of lexical words. This paper focuses on the adverbs, particles, prepositions, conjunctions, modal particles, which are com- mon in Baoji dialect and mandarin Chinese, but are different in meaning and usage, or those peculiar to Baoji dialect.
