摘要
晚明浓郁的商业社会氛围对陈洪绶的绘画风格产生了深刻的影响。陈洪绶受教育环境影响,积极读书仕进却屡遭打击,仕途不顺和经济困顿导致其不得不以底层文人的身份投身于商业书画的创作中。但陈洪绶始终秉持着文人风骨,使得他的绘画没有完全迎合市场。晚明江南城市的富裕奢华提升了书画作品的需求空间,为了生计,陈洪绶不仅从事书画买卖,而且积极参与用于图书插画的版画制作。陈洪绶绘制的版画作品不仅为版画带来了文人气息,同时他也从版画中吸收了新的绘画方式。通过融汇古今,陈洪绶最终形成鲜明的个人绘画风格,在晚明画坛中独树一帜。
Though believing the Confucianism slogan that officialdom is the natural outlet for good scholars,Chen Hongshou’repeated attempts for officialdom ended up in failure.He had to make a living by selling his paintings to get out of his economic plight.The commercial prosperity in cities to the south of Yangtze River in the late Ming Dynasty presented an increasing demand for calligraphy and paintings.To make more profits,Chen Hongshou expanded to the business of Banhua(pictures used as illustrations and printed from an engraved plate).Thanks to the interaction between his Banhua works and his paintings,his paper paintings stood out in the late Ming Dynasty.
