摘要
公共科技决策中的公众参与伴随着对公众理解科学"欠缺模式"的批判而生,受到一些学者的欢迎和倡导。本文区分了6大类引发科学技术的社会争议的原因,分析了科学的社会争议的可解决性。研究认为公众参与科学范式在科学争议的化解问题上既"先天不足",又"后天失养",因而不能过度迷信或者神话公众参与在科学的社会争议的解决中能起到的作用。
Public participation in scientific decision-making, as accompanied by the criticism of the"deficit model"of public understanding of science, has been advocated by some scholars. This paper distinguishes six categories of the causes of social controversies of science, and analyzes their solubility. This paper argues that some social controversies of science cannot be solved by public participation. It is wise to be cautious about the role of public participation in handling social controversies of science.
