夏永良认为治病当以辨证为先。瘾疹、尿浊、小儿上感、不寐、耳鸣、妇女痛经等内外妇儿疾病,皆由气机不畅、升降失常而生。谨遵异病同治之法,予调畅气机之方。升降散,以调畅气机为首要功能。气机畅,五脏和,则五行脏腑经络之气充沛,正能胜邪,其病乃愈。根据临床实际病情变化,兼以凉血、疏风、退热等法。虚则补之,实则泻之,其临证用药灵活变通,临床疗效显著。

XIA Yong-liang＇s think that the dialectics is the first thing to cure disease. Most of the internal and external diseases such as nettle rash,cloudy urineare,children＇s common cold,insomnia,tinnitus,women dysmenorrheadue is caused by dysfunction of qi and disturbance in ascending and descending. In compliance with different diseases the method is to adjust activities of qi. The primary function of Shengjiang powder is to regulate the activities of qi. Qi running unobstructed,internal organs reconcile,the abundant qi of five elements is the way to win evil,the disease can be cure. According to the actual clinical condition changes,and to increase the cooling blood,expelling wind,cooling and other methods. The patients＇ weak body at the meanwhile remove evil.
