Active Citizenship: One Theoretical Way to Analyzing Publicity

在当代政治哲学与公共哲学语境中,公共性是思考和讨论积极公民的一种重要且有效的分析视角。公共性与积极公民具有内在耦合性,作为政治系统的构成部分和本质特性,两者之间内在贯通、相互支撑,共同守护政治系统的稳定和繁荣。以公共性为视域,公共化的生活场景是积极公民之所以成为"公"的特质的社会学前提,为政治主体提供孕育积极公民的"苗床"。对成就积极公民来说,人的公共化存在具有根基性的价值,它规约了人必须要进入到"公"的领域,在"公"领域成为"公"之民。此外,积极公民能够有效承担政治共同体赋予的公共责任,自觉地担负起推进政治公共性的职责,守护社会的公共领域,维持社会的稳定和繁荣。

In the context of contemporary political philosophy and public philosophy,publicity is an important and effective perspective to think about and discuss active citizenship. There is an inherent coupling between publicity and active citizenship. As parts of the political system and its essential characteristics,publicity and active citizenship connect internally and support each other to protect the stability and prosperity of the political system. In the perspective of publicity,the public life scene is the premise of the sociology,which characterizes the ＂publicity＂of active citizenship. And the public life scene also provides ＂seedbed＂to produce active citizens for the political subject. For achieving active citizenship,the public existence of human being has its fundamental value,which means that human being must enter into the ＂public＂sphere and be a ＂public＂person in the ＂public＂sphere. In addition,active citizens can effectively undertake the public responsibility given by the political community,consciously take on the duty of promoting political publicity,protect the public sphere of society,and maintain the stability and prosperity of society.
