摘要《大学英语课程教学要求》已经不能解决当前大学英语教学的困境。文章综合分析了地方高校学生的英语水平、教师的知识结构以及学校的办学条件,认为在新一轮大学英语改革的机遇下,地方高校大学英语课程设置需要把EGAP课程纳入其中,以期能推动大学英语教学改革,使英语教学走上可持续性发展的道路。 College English Curriculum Requirements are not sufficient for current college English teaching. Af-ter analyzing studentsJ English proficiency, teachers＇ knowledge structure and teaching facilities in local uni-versities, this paper puts forward an idea that local universities should incorporate EGAP courses into college English curriculum under the background of the new round teaching reform of College English, thus facilitating the reform in college English teaching and making college English teaching a sustainable development.
