摘要
从兴趣、动机、焦虑和自尊四个维度对108名学生四级考试前后的情感状态进行跟踪记录和分析,发现学生考试后英语学习兴趣呈现减弱趋势,较多的学生趋向于工具型学习动机,焦虑感也较考试前有所增加,学习自尊状态基本没有变化。这些状况与学生基础较差、四级考试当中表现不佳、语言学习失败经历过多、功利性目的等因素有关。对解决这些问题提出了建议,以期对大学英语教学和学生的语言学习有所启示,进而促进学生的英语学习和自身全面健康发展。
An investigation on students affects before and after GET4 has been carried out in WNU. Compared with before CET4, students interest in English-leaming wanes, and more students motivation tends to be instrumental ; their anxiety becomes more serious, while their self-esteem is nearly the same as that before CET4. These changes are mainly caused by students* poor performance in CET4 and too many failure experiences in English-leaming. Besides, their low level of English and the utilitarian learning purposes are also the reasons. Some suggestions are put forward with the expectation of improving English teaching in WNU and helping students have all-round development.
