我国规模猪场仔猪福利问题与对策

Problems and Countermeasures of Piglet Welfare in China's Pig Farms

仔猪阶段在整个生猪养殖过程中是死亡率最高的阶段,也是动物福利最易受到损害的阶段。仔猪福利的好坏直接影响仔猪的生长和行为,我国许多猪场对动物福利问题还不太重视,存在一些违反动物福利的做法。依据动物福利的含义,针对规模猪场仔猪阶段有关饲养管理操作(如仔猪耳号标记、剪齿、断尾、去势、断奶及仔猪运输等)中涉及的仔猪福利方面的问题,提出相应的改善仔猪福利水平的建议措施或对策以及对未来的展望。

Piglet stage is the most vulnerable stage with the highest mortality in the whole pig produc-tion process and it is also the most susceptible stage of animal welfare to be damaged. Piglet welfare has a direct impact on its growth and behavior. Not so much attentions have been paid to animal welfare in many pig farms in China yet and there are still some violations of animal welfare practices. Based on the animal welfare connotation, issues associated with piglet welfare in the operations （such as ear notching, tail doc-king, teeth clipping, castration, weaning and transportation etc. ） in scale pig farms are proposed and measures to improve the level of welfare of piglets and the prospects for the future are also presented.
