A Summary on the Fourth Session of National Mencius Thought Seminar

为了进一步推动对孟子思想的研究与对国学的讨论,2016年11月4—7日,由中国孔子基金会、中国哲学史学会、全国儒团联和安徽省孟子思想研究会共同举办的"第四届全国孟子思想研讨会"在安徽合肥召开。与会专家学者就孟子的人性论思想、诚信思想、"仁术"思想、君子观、政治观,孟子思想史中的一些问题,国学及孟子思想研究的现状与未来等问题,做了深入的阐述与探讨。会议议题集中,内容丰富,体现了孟子思想和国学研究大众化、时代化、国际化的特点。

In order to improve the research of Mencius thoughts and the ancient culture,the fourth session of national Mencius Thought Seminar was held by the China Confucius Foundation and Mencius Thought Research in Hefei,Anhui province in November of 2016.Dozens of prestigious scholars raised their points on the theory of human nature,the integrity,the methods of kindness,the viewpoint of gentleman and politics.Furthermore,it referred to some problems in the history of Mencius thoughts,elaborated the actuality and future of ancient culture.
