地方应用型本科高校转型发展的思考

Reflections on the Transformation and Development of Local Application-Oriented Colleges and Universities

以江苏省11所省属普通本科高校、5所市属本科高校等地方应用型本科高校为样本,从高校办学目标、服务面向、学科专业、人才培养、教学模式、科学研究等方面入手,归纳其办学定位和办学特色,剖析其办学定位、办学特色的形成过程及个性特征,并从高校自身视角出发,对地方应用型本科高校转型发展做了理性思考:更新理念、统一认识,是地方应用型本科高校转型发展的前提;拓宽视野、准确定位,是地方应用型本科高校转型发展的基础;整合资源、打造特色,是地方应用型本科高校转型发展的关键;突出应用、强化实践,是地方应用型本科高校转型发展的重点;以研促教、以教促研,是地方应用型本科高校转型发展的保障。

Eleven provincial universities and colleges, and five municipal colleges from Jiangsu Province are taken as samples in the present research. Starting from the objectives of college education, service orientations, disciplines and specialties, talent training, teaching models, scientific research and so on in the colleges and universities, this paper sums up running orientation and school characteristics , analyzes the forming process of running orientation, school characteristics, and their individual characteristics. From the perspective of colleges and universities, it makes a rational reflection on the transformation and development of local application - oriented undergraduate colleges and universities. Writer thinks the prerequisite is to renew their ideas and unify their understandings; the basis is to broaden their horizons and accurate positioning; the key is to integrate resources and build up individual characteristics; the focus is to highlight the application and strengthen practice; and the guarantee is to strengthen scientific research and improve teaching, getting them mutually enhanced.
