摘要
巴赫金提出的复调理论和狂欢化诗学,主张文学作品中主人公之间、作者与主人公之间的多声道对话,及平等对待一切文学体裁、语言风格,对少数民族典籍英译具有重要的借鉴。民族典籍英译应成为译者与作者、主人公、读者等多个主体之间的多声道对话,不同对话主体间享有平等地位,原文的语言风格和体裁形式应得到尊重和尽可能再现。
"Polyphony" and "Carnivaiesque" introduced into literary studies by Mikhail Bakhtin emphasize the multi-voice dialogue between different characters in a literary work and between author and characters, and the equality of different literary genres and styles. Inspired by these ideas, in English translation of ethnic minority classics, multi-voice dialogue should be conducted among translators, authors, main characters and readers, etc; different subjects in the dialogue enjoy equal status; the language features and forms of source text should be respected and represented as much as possible.
