摘要
吴汝纶是晚清著名的古文家和杰出的教育家,关于他的文学成就和教育思想研究起步较早,成果颇丰,但对吴汝纶人性论思想的研究尚未引起学界关注。研读吴汝纶的《读荀子一》等文章,可知其尊崇程朱理学心性论,继承孟子"性善论",兼用荀子"性恶论",凸显"学""礼"与"行",构建其自成体系的人性论,而作为其教育理论的重要哲学根基。疏理吴汝纶的人性论思想,了解其旨趣与归宿,可拓展吴汝纶研究的疆域,深化对其教育思想的研究。
Wu Rulun is a famous prose writer and educator in late Qing dynasty.His literary achievements and educational thoughts have long been discussed,but his theory of human nature remains untouched.Therefore,the writer of this paper argues,through reading of his assumptions based on recollections on Xunzi,Han Fei,Confucius and Mencius,that Wu Rulun has founded his theory of humanity.Wu Rulun advocates the neo-Confucianism,Mengzi's theory of good human nature and Xunzi's theory of evil human nature,for the purpose of promotion of learning,courtesy and action.
