The Connotations,Categories and Orientation of Rural Celebrities in View of Rural Governance

乡、德、勤、能、绩是定义乡贤的基本要素。依据乡贤的内涵变迁与历史发展、所在地域、社会结构、数量构成、组织资源、组合方式等维度,可以将乡贤区分为六种基本样态。乡贤的定位是指乡贤所处的历史方位和现实方位。从历史方位看,乡贤是管理乡村公共事务的主导力量,是乡村社会的实际治理者,在乡村治理中起着决定性作用;从现实方位看,乡贤是管理乡村公共事务的重要力量,是乡村社会建设的重要参与者,在乡村治理中起着重要作用。

Township,morality,diligence,ability and performance are the basic elements in the definition of rural celebrities. The rural celebrities can be divided into six basic categories according to the different connotations of rural celebrities and the varied historical development,the geographical region,the social structure,the quantity constitution,the organizational resources and the combination mode. The orientation of rural celebrities refers to their positioning in history and reality. From the historical point of view,rural celebrities are the leading force in the management of rural public affairs and the actual governor of rural society,hence their decisive role in rural governance; from the realistic point of view,rural celebrities are an important force in the management of rural public affairs and the main participants in the rural society,hence their significant role in rural governance.
