The launching of the＂Great Leap Forward＂is a major mistake of Mao Zedong in leading the whole Party to explore the law of socialist construction. On the basis of reflection and summary,Mao Zedong profoundly expounded the importance of investigation and research in the period of national economic adjustment after the ＂Great Leap Forward ＂ movement, discussed the necessity of investigation and research in theoretical innovation,proposed that the construction of socialist work can only be ensured by energetically encouraging the practice of investigation and research,maintained that in-depth investigation and research should run through the revolution and construction work from beginning to end,proposed that all conclusions should be reached at the end of the investigation rather than its beginning,and put forward the idea that doing investigation and research work well is based on whether the leaders have feelings for the masses.Thought of investigation and research proposed by Mao Zedong in the national economic adjustment period made policy formulation more in line with China＇s reality,made our party have a more profound understanding of the persistence and arduousness of building socialism,and also made our party take a big step in the exploration of socialist construction law.
