《禹贡》地理新解

New Geographical Interpretation of “Yugong”

以古典记载和出土文物为依据,对《禹贡》一文作全新解读:大禹治水的主"河"并非黄河,而是钱塘江,即《禹贡》一文中的"逆河"。《禹贡》地域仅为我国一隅。《禹贡》南界为鄱阳湖与武夷山,西界为鄱阳湖到长江的连接水系。《禹贡》地域,"东渐于海",北不过长江,此区域内中间隆起而高大的三清山,为古昆仑山,其东为《禹贡》九州,西为《禹贡》西戎。向西流的"黑水"与"弱水",分别为江西的信江与乐安江,东流的《禹贡》"逆河"为钱塘江。以钱塘江为中心,按《禹贡》中的山脉、江河来划分《禹贡》九州,和现在浙江一带的行政区块划分相近。《禹贡》中的河流和支流走向,以及湖泊、山脉、各州物产、土壤等特征,都与现在东南一带地理、物产、土壤等特征接近。会稽就位于《禹贡》九州水陆交汇中心。

Based on classical records and unearthed cultural relics,the present paper is a new interpretation of the article ＂Yugong＂： the main river Yu the Great tamed was the Qiantang River instead of the Yellow River,namely the ＂Nihe River＂in ＂Yugong＂. The region ＂Yugong＂is just a corner of China,its northern boundary being Poyang Lake and Wuyi Mountains and its western waters connecting Poyang Lake to the Yangtze River. The ＂Yugong＂region stretches eastward to the East China Sea and northward to the Yangtze River. In the middle of the region stands lofty Mount Sanqingshan called Kunlun Mountains in ancient times,whose east was the nine states of ＂Yugong＂and whose west the Xirong minority group. The westward rivers of ＂Blackshui＂and ＂Ruoshui＂were the Xinjiang River and Le＇anjiang River in Jiangxi province,whereas the eastward river of ＂Nihe＂in ＂Yugong＂was the Qiantang River. Surrounding the Qiantang River,the division of the nine states of ＂Yugong＂according to the mountains and rivers in ＂Yugong＂coincides with the present-day Zhejiang province. The direction in which the rivers and their respective branches in ＂Yugong＂run and the characteristics of lakes,mountains,local specialties and soil in each state approach to those of geography,local specialties and soil in the present Southeast region. Kuaiji is located in the land and water intersection of the nine state of ＂Yugong＂.
