独立学院是隶属于高校教育中的特殊存在,英语教学应该有别于一般的普通高校,针对其办学特点和生源的特殊性,在ESP和分级教学理念的基础上,独立学院应构建英语教学的一种新模式,实现自身的升级和转型,并满足改革和人才培养的需求。

The independent college is regarded as the special existence to be affiliated to the university education, and English teaching in this type of college should be different from regular institutions of higher education. Targeting on school-running characteristics and particularity of source of students, independent colleges should construct a new teaching model in English education based on the concept of ESP and level-based teaching so as to realize transformation and upgrading and meet the needs of reform and talent cultivation.
