新华社北京10月25日电世界的目光再次聚焦中国,刚刚在中国共产党第十九届中央委员会第一次全体会议上当选的中共中央总书记习近平和中共中央政治局常委李克强、栗战书、汪洋、王沪宁、赵乐际、韩正,25日中午在人民大会堂同采访中共十九大的中外记者亲切见面。

On October 24, 2017, the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China(CPC) concluded, enshrining Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era into the Party Constitution and installing a new Central Committee and a new Central Commission for Discipline Inspection(CCDI).On October 25, the CPC unveiled a new leadership line-up to lead the world's most populous nation toward a great modern socialist country. Xi Jinping was again elected general secretary of the CPC Central Committee, leading its seven-seat Political Bureau Standing Committee. The other six members of the top leadership are Li Keqiang, Li Zhanshu, Wang Yang, Wang Huning, Zhao Leji and Han Zheng. They were elected at the first plenum of the 19th CPC Central Committee following the 19 th CPC National Congress, a new historic starting point for the Party to realize its ambitious blueprint for the nation's great revival.The year of 2018 marks the 40 th anniversary of the launch of reform and opening-up. Xi Jinping said China will make determined efforts to comprehensively deepen reform and open still wider to the world. The year of 2019 marks the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. The CPC will continue efforts to accomplish all the tasks laid down in the 13th Five-Year Plan, develop new blueprints for China's future, and see the flourishing of all the endeavors, Xi Jinping said. Xi Jinping reiterated the resolve to establish a moderately prosperous society across all metrics in 2020. He said the Party must remain committed to a people-centered philosophy of development and make steady progress toward enhancing the people's sense of fulfillment and realizing common prosperity for everyone.The CPC will mark its centenary in 2021. Xi Jinping said the Party will generate waves of positive energy which can build into a mighty and nationwide force driving China's development and progress.A total of 452 major political parties in 165 countries have sent 855 messages of congratulation to the CPC since the opening of the 19 th CPC National Congress.
