文化翻译观指导下的中医文化负载词英译策略

English Translation Strategies on the Translation of Cultural Loaded Words in Traditional Chinese Medicine Literature from the Perspective of Cultural Translation

根据苏珊·巴斯奈特的文化翻译观,本文选取了最为典型、最有代表性的中医文献典籍,对其中具有中国特色文化信息的负载词进行分类和整理,从中医疾病类、中医症状类、病因病机类、中医哲学类及宗教类文化五个层面分析其翻译难点,深入探讨文化负载词中蕴含的文化含义和民族精神传递,并针对中医文化负载词的翻译提出可采取的四种翻译策略:文化共鸣与直译、文化冗余与意译、文化互缺与异化、文化互鉴与归化,以提高中医的国际传播和中国传统医学文化的国际影响力。

According to the cultural translation theory of Susan Bassnett,this passage research on difficulties in translations of the cultural loaded words in several typical Chinese medicine books,and divides them into the following five types：disease,symptoms,etiology and pathology,Chinese philosophy and religious culture. At last,it putforward three translation principles and four translation strategies for the translation of traditional Chinese medical literature in order to promote the spreading and influence of Chinese traditional medicine around the globe.
