本文在简介美国五所著名大学机械工程专业特色的基础上,以克莱姆森大学为例,分析了机械工程专业本科教学的培养模式、课程体系及实践性教学的特色。主要分析的内容如下:美国大学重视对学生沟通与表达能力的培养,重视对数学与物理等基础课程的教学,实验课统一编排,实践性教学形式多样化,等等。

After the brief introduction of the characteristcs of mechanical engineering Of five famous universities in America, Clemson University is used as an example in this paper to explore the characteristics of the cultivate mode, course system and practical teaching of undergraduate teaching of mechanical engineering. It is found that America university emphasizes the cultivation of communication and cooperation between students,and pays much attention to the teach of mathematics and physics,much of their laboratory courses are arranged systematically,and there are various teaching methods for practical teaching.
