The paper summarizes the typical system and performance characteristics of bridge cable sus-pension steel, expounds its development and domestic and oversea advanced production technologies, es-pecially analyzes the new development of production technologies and their advantages and disadvan-tages, and analyzes the orientation of research and development for bridge cable suspension steel fromaspects of system development and manufacturing technology.
