摘要
针对公司专利与新产品的关系以及与CEO背景特征对其的调节效应问题,收集整理了来自全球IT产业的121家上市公司的数据,研究发现:公司专利与新产品之间不存在显著相关关系;当CEO是男性时,公司专利对新产品上市有正向影响;CEO年龄在公司专利和新产品上市之间起着负向调节效应;CEO学历在公司专利和新产品上市之间起着正向调节效应。研究结论可供企业选聘CE0以提高创新绩效提供参考。
To analyze the relationship between patents and new products and the moderCEO background characteristics to its relationship, this paper collected data from 121 listed companies in the global communications industry. The study found that: 1. Therewas no significant correlation between patents and new products. 2. When the CEO ismale,the company’ s patents has a positiproducts. 3. The age of CEO plays a negative effect between patents and new products. 4. The educational background of CEO plays a positive effect between patented and new products. Finally, according to the results,companies can hire CEO for improving the innovation performance.
