教育成就的性别不平等研究——以武汉市为例

摘要 采用武汉市2014年社会综合状况调查(CSSR)数据,分析了性别、城乡、年龄以及家庭资本因素对居民教育获得的性别不平等的影响作用。研究结果发现,我国城乡二元的发展模式在教育获得的性别不平等方面也有深刻体现。受传统父权文化和观念影响,农村的教育性别不平等现象比城镇地区更为严重。在控制城乡因素的情况下,父亲的社会经济地位和学历水平的提升能明显改善女儿的受教育状况。因此,我们认为,家庭经济资本和文化资本的改善能够弱化父权文化对教育性别不平等的影响。 Based on the data of social comprehensive situation survey(CSSR) of Wuhan in 2014,this paper analyzes the effect that gender,the urban area or rural area,age and family capital impose on gender inequality of educational attainment. The result shows that the gender inequality of education reflects the binary development model of the urban and rural areas. Under the influence of the traditional patriarchal culture and ideas,educationrelated gender inequality in the rural area is more serious than in the urban area. In the case of controlling urban and rural factors,the father's socioeconomic status and education level can significantly improve the daughter's education status. Therefore,this paper concludes that improvement of the family economic capital and cultural capital can weaken the influence of patriarchal culture on the gender inequality in education.
