摘要
项目学习是强调学生自主学习的教学方式。本文以某高校英语专业写作教学为例,从元话语尤其是模糊语和强调语的频率、词类、词汇丰富性三个角度探究项目学习在学术写作能力培养中的影响和作用。结果发现写作教学中采取项目学习方法并不能够在一年时间内帮助学生融入学术社团,项目学习提高词汇丰富性的效果不明显,但是对于学生学术写作元话语使用水平提高有积极影响,有益于帮助学生构建符合期刊论文规则的作者-读者关系。
Project-based learning underlines student-centered autonomous learning.This paper takes English-major undergraduate writing teaching in a university in China as an example,and explores the influence and role of project-based learning in the cultivation of academic writing ability from the perspective of meta-discourse,especially the frequency,word classification and lexical richness of fuzzy words and emphatic words.The result shows that the project-based learning method can not help the students to integrate into the academic community within one year.The effect of the project-based learning to improve the vocabulary richness is not obvious,but it has the positive effect on the students' meta-discourse of academic writing,which is beneficial for the students to build the author-reader relationship that conforms to the rules of journal.
