Based on analysis of over-limit problem in container freight,the necessity of over-limit control is demonstrated from market development,infrastructure maintaining,environment protection. Besides it,the reason for the problem is analyzed from freight charge,market and law enforcement,combined with GB1589-2016 standard and No. 62 Regulation issued by Ministry of Transportation,the impact of over-limit control of container to market is illustrated both long and short terms. At last,in order to commit a positive market construction under the development of container freight market,a prediction with developing trend on container freight is proposed from cost,strategy and information.
