牛角形辣椒新品种周椒208的选育

Breeding of a New Cultivar of Hot Pepper, Zhoujiao No.208

周椒208是以P0624为母本、以SP0723为父本配制而成的大果型辣椒一代杂种。植株生长势中等,株高58.4 cm,开展度59.5 cm,始花节位为9.8节,果实纵径17.7 cm,横径5.4 cm,平均单果质量78.3 g;果实牛角形,青熟期绿色,商品性好,品质好,适应性强;高抗病毒病(TMV)、疫病、炭疽病。一般每667 m2产量为3 200 kg左右,适宜河南省及其周边地区保护地和露地栽培。

Zhoujiao No.208 is a new F1 hybrid with large fruit that hybridized by P0624 as the female parent and SP0723 as the male parent. This cultivar has medium growth potential and its plant height, plant width, node number at the first flowering stage, fruit length, fruit diameter, average single fruit weight are about 58.4 cm, 59.5 cm, 9.8, 17.7 cm, 5.4 cm and 78.3 g respectively. Its fruit is cow horn-shape. The fruit in green-matured stage is green. It has some characteristics including excellent commodity, good quality and wide adaptability. Its yield is about 3 200 kg/667 m^2. The results of field investigation show that it is resistant to virus disease, epidemic disease and anthracnose. This cultivar is suitable for protected, open field cultivation in Henna Province and its surrounding areas.
