海岛教案:“第三域”视阈下的文化排异与和合

Haidao Case:The Cultural Exclusion and Union in the Perspective of “the Third Domains”

教案冲突是近代中国一大突出的社会问题。是传统向近代转进的过程中外部因子植入到古老的中华肌体之后,注定要出现的文化排异反应,也是传统文化价值观在近代岁月中经历的与西学、洋教一次次碰撞、交汇、斗争与和合的开始。清末发生的教案多以冲突始,以中方失败而告终。光绪年间在浙江湖州发生的海岛教案,则堪称以理性、和平手段解决教案冲突的一个成功案例。在整个事件的过程中,地方社会力量——市镇绅商居间发挥了举足轻重的作用。从"第三域"的视阈出发,分析厘辨海岛教案,不无启示的意义。

Case conflict is a prominent social problem in modern China.In the process of traditional transfer to modern times,the external factors are implanted into the ancient Chinese body.The case conflict is destined to be the cultural Exclusion,and it is also the beginning of the conflict,struggle and union between the traditional cultural values and the western values and foreign religions.Most of the cases occurred in the late Qing Dynasty ended with the failure of the Chinese side.In Guangxu years Haidao case in Huzhou,Zhejiang Province is a a conflict case solved by a rational,peaceful means.In the whole process of the incident,the local social force-the gentry business plays a pivotal role,and it is of great significance to analyze the case from the perspective of 'the third domain'.
