The Supplemental Research of Linpu-born Yunming Lin's Life Story

清初文学家林云铭出身林浦林氏家族,家族出身对其举业及少年时的经历都产生了一定的影响。出仕后,云铭仕途的蹭蹬与其一身铮铮傲骨难脱干系。林云铭一生遭际奇穷。为官时,日日为人断案,自己却屡遭诬枉,申诉无门;隐居建溪,适逢耿精忠叛乱,被幽囚十有八月;晚年寄居杭州,以著作寄寓穷愁,终因痰疾卒于杭州。

Yunming Lin, a litterateur in the early Qing dynasty, was born in Lin family in Linpu. His family background had impacts on his achievement in Imperial Examination and experiences in his youth. When serving as an official,Yunming met with setbacks,which was definitely due to his lofty integrity. Yunming＇s life was full of misfortune. When settling lawsuits as an official,he was wronged time and again but had no way to complain of his wrongs. While he was retiring and living in Jianxi, Jingzhong Gen rebelled there and imprisoned Yunming for more eight months. He lived in Hangzhou in his later years,and placed his poverty and distress on his literary creation.
